Politics is dense, scattered, and hard to follow but it influences our lives in every level.
This app helps people make a well-informed political choice by collecting all the relevant political information in one place and reducing the friction of wide research. This case study was made in 2017, but it remains relevant as ever in the 2026 Israeli political landscape.
When this project was just designed, the challenge was helping voters who didn't really follow politics regularly and didn't know where to start understanding it. Today, people are exposed
to politics through constant flow of social media posts, memes, videos and unverified sources. It's hard to know the "fake news" from the real ones.
To add insult to injury, politics can be confusing and dense with long bills and law proposals, specific jargons and not enough clear analysis into them. Traditional media journalists don't make people's life easier either, with biased and, often, hard to read reports
People encounter politics through feeds, creators, and communities that reinforce what they already believe.
Different bubbles.
Different realities.
Bills, candidates, opinions, scandals, reactions, and updates are scattered
across too many channels.
Too much noise.
Too little context.
Polarization, biased coverage, social media dynamics, and AI-generated
content make trust harder.
Harder to know what is real, relevant, or complete.
The research pointed to a citizen who cared about voting, but didn't follow politics closely enough to feel confident when election season arrived. They wanted to make
a responsible decision, but didn't know where to start, didn't have time for
deep research, and didn't want to rely on one biased source.
The Responsible Undecided Voter
The Israeli landscape also showed that all existing tools answer only to parts of the solution:
Good for: Quick pre-election party matching
Missing: Follow-up civic action, bill tracking, representative relationship
Good for: Updates
and commentary
Missing: Neutrality, simplification, personalized decision support
Good for: Source-of-truth, official information
Missing: Plain-language experience, comparison, personal relevance
Good for: Transparency
and specific interventions
Missing: A continuous mobile-first product loop
Making political information people-friendly, intuitive and clear is the hallmark of empowering the public to make decisions that feel influential, aligned with their values and fact-based.
The application was built to support exploration, comparison and action in a single, easy to use, platform

A 3UP process was used to explore the flows and layouts that would offer the clearest, most friendly core experience before jumping into the visual design.

A very familiar concept to all users, the timeline shows a stream of articles, candidate profiles and law detail page
Highlight Concept
The most visual of the concepts, the Highlight was meant to show the user only one article at the time, giving more power to each information piece
Magazine Concept
The magazine concept was focused on giving the users an immediate overview of the main news, representatives and laws
